Connecting Donor Data-Salesforce

Your donor data is an important component that reveals donor giving behavior and grants insight into where, when, how much, and how often your donors give to your organization. Harness the power of Avid by connecting your Salesforce CRM.

Connecting Salesforce

  • Log in and navigate to the Settings section of your Avid platform
  • Click 'CRM' in the Avid AI Integration Checklist, 'Connect your CRM' under Connect your CRM System, or the Add button and 'System'
  • Find Salesforce in the listed tiles
  • Click 'Authenticate'
  • Use your Salesforce login and Password (if your are already logged in, it will ask you to 'Allow')
  • Approve the authentication instructions allowing Avid access and requests for the API 
  • Clicking 'Allow' will connect Avid (or, if you don't have the right authorization, invite a teammate to join Avid)
  • You're done for now  
Go explore benchmarks and wait for the data to backfill (you can check back in about 24 hours). You will receive a reminder from Avid to customize any column mapping and approve default settings at that time. If you need more help, check out the screenshots below.
