Connecting Subscriber Data-SendGrid
Your subscriber data should be regularly checked, updated, and evaluated. Acquisition, health, and cultivation/stewardship efforts keep your program going strong.
Connecting SendGrid
- Log in and navigate to the Settings section of your Avid platform
- Click 'Email Marketing' in the Avid AI Integration Checklist, 'Connect your Email Marketing' under Connect your Email Marketing System, or the Add button and 'System'
- Find SendGrid in the listed tiles
- To connect your SendGrid instance to Avid AI you will need your API Key from SendGrid
- log in to SendGrid and follow these instructions from Twillo or these instructions from Gravity Forms
- Make sure your API Key has full access/admin access for full capabilities
- Copy and save your API Key
- Paste your API Key in Avid AI
- Click 'Save'
You've connected your instance! Invite team members to join Avid, explore benchmarks, and wait for the data to backfill (you can check back in about 24 hours). You will receive a reminder from Avid to customize any column mapping and approve default settings at that time. Connecting an email system will also allow you to push data from your CRM through segments in the Pathways menu if you have chosen to use that feature in Avid.
