Avid Names Nonprofit Technology Executive Bradley Martin as VP of Growth

Industry veteran joins Avid to help bring purpose-built AI to more nonprofit fundraising teams.

Avid has announced that Bradley Martin has joined the company as Vice President of Growth, bringing nearly a decade of experience helping nonprofit organizations adopt technology to improve fundraising, strengthen their marketing, and ultimately make a bigger impact.

Bradley began working in nonprofit technology ten years ago at Kindful and has since held sales and marketing leadership roles at Kindful, Bloomerang, and Feathr. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with nonprofit organizations and the technology companies that serve them, giving him a firsthand view of how the role of the modern fundraiser has evolved.

“Over the last 10 years, I’ve watched the job of a fundraiser become increasingly complicated,” Bradley said. “Organizations have more data, more tools, more channels, and more expectations, but that hasn’t necessarily made it easier to know who to reach, what donors are telling you, or what you should do next.”

Avid combines proprietary data models with AI to help fundraising professionals answer some of their hardest questions, and make it easier to take action on those ideas. Built for fundraisers, by fundraisers, Avid’s recommendations are grounded in more than 8,000 controlled fundraising experiments and 650 million donor interactions. Additionally, Avid’s fundraising benchmarks represent over $14 billion in annual giving,  allowing Avid to go beyond general-purpose AI and provide fundraising teams with insights and recommendations built around how fundraising actually works.

“What impressed me about Avid is that the team isn’t just adding another piece of software to a fundraiser’s technology stack,” Bradley said. “They’ve taken some of the hardest questions fundraisers deal with every day and built a platform that can actually help solve them. It helps organizations better understand their donors, identify opportunities, and know what to do next. I think Avid has the ability to change the way fundraising teams work, and I’m incredibly excited about getting this technology into the hands of thousands of organizations.”

Parrish Snyder, Chief Revenue Officer at Avid, said Bradley’s experience will bring a new perspective to the company’s next stage of growth.

“Bringing on Bradley gives us an opportunity to think differently about growth at Avid,” Parrish said. “His deep experience across both sales and marketing in the nonprofit software space brings immense value to our team, along with a different way of thinking about how we get Avid into the hands of more organizations.”

As VP of Growth, Bradley will focus on expanding Avid’s go-to-market strategy and helping more nonprofit fundraising teams discover and adopt the platform. In conjunction with the introduction of Bradley, marketing and community engagement will be aligned inside of the Revenue organization.
