Parrish Snyder joins Avid as CRO. Erik Tomalis named Chief Community Officer.

Two leadership profile cards for Parrish Snyder, Chief Revenue Officer, and Erik Tomalis, Chief Community Officer, as part of Avid's Executive Team Updates.

Avid made two leadership moves this week. Together, they point in the same direction.

Parrish Snyder, who spent nine years building go-to-market at OneCause, joined us as Chief Revenue Officer. And Erik Tomalis—one of Avid’s earliest leaders—stepped into a new role: Chief Community Officer.

Parrish joins Avid

For nine years at OneCause, Parrish built the sales organization for one of the nonprofit sector’s leading fundraising platforms. He scaled teams across the US and Canada. He helped grow a customer base managing over $8 billion in giving. He learned what it takes to get nonprofit teams to adopt mission-critical software—and keep using it.

He understands nonprofit fundraising. Not theoretically. From years of being inside it.

And he looked at what Avid is building and chose to come. When someone of that caliber makes that choice, it tells you where the company is headed.

The community work ahead

Erik has been one of Avid’s earliest and most influential voices. He’s built relationships with customers. He shows up at every major conference. He speaks. He’s earned the trust of the sector.

That work deserves his full attention—and now it has it.

What Erik does best is move through this industry, build partnerships, and bring people along. It’s the relationships and conversations that move the sector forward. Chief Community Officer is a new role, built around exactly that.

Why this matters

Parrish brings operational depth from years inside nonprofit fundraising software. He knows the difference between software a team buys and software a team uses.

Erik brings credibility and presence across the sector, earned in the conversations that shape what’s possible.

Together, they’re what nonprofits need: a company that knows how to build software for fundraisers, and a voice that knows what fundraisers actually care about.
